Job Summary
The Painter works closely with the Regional Vice President to perform painting, finishing and maintaining a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures. The Painter prepares surfaces for painting and finishing; applies undercoats and finishes; performs soda and water blasting; also advises in the selection and storage of painting materials.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
One year painting experience required
Valid drivers license
Ability to travel to multiple properties
Federal and State Fair Housing knowledge
Exceptional customer service skills
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor
Strong attention to detail
Skill of coordination being able to adjust actions in relation to others actions
Knowledge of how to operate necessary and basic painting tools and equipment
Skill of equipment selection determining kind of tools and equipment needed
Knowledge of application code requirements and method practices of maintenance of tools and equipment
Knowledge of hazards and appropriate precautionary measures to be taken
Skill to perform routine maintenance on equipment
